When you’ve got an amazing story to tell you want to talk to someone who knows the business.
Phillipa Cherryson, who heads Shout News, trained as a journalist more years ago then she would like to admit. She’s worked for national newspapers and television, covered overseas conflicts, sat through gruelling murder trials, taken up causes and battles that would have been lost without press coverage and helped secure a posthumous pardon for a man who was hanged for a crime he didn’t commit – and finally gave peace to his widow.
Then 12 years ago she set up this business to help people with a story to tell.
Since then we’ve spoken to thousands of people about their story. They’ve been through tragedy, joy, betrayal, miracles and heartbreak. But they have all come through it, often stronger than ever, and all have wanted to share their incredible stories with the world.
We’ve got the experience of dealing with all the national magazines, newspapers and television. But we remain independent, our loyalties are to the people whose stories we place. We’re here to represent you. To make sure your story is told in the way you want, in the best publications and for the money it is truly worth.
"When my husband died I thought my
life was over, but now our children will be able to read the article
you helped me publish and will know just what a wonderful man their
dad was."
Linda Jones, Mid Glamorgan.
"Every newspaper and magazine wanted to publish my story. I
am just glad you were there to make sure the story I wanted to
tell came out."
Jane Barnes, Dorset.
"Bella magazine sold out in my town when my article was
published. Now everyone knows what a rat my husband was. Thank
you so much."
Audrey Taylor, Southend.
"My son was murdered and I was really nervous about
publishing my story, but you were there all the way supporting
me and helping me through it. When the article came out I cried
my eyes out. I'm really glad I did it, it's helped me in so many
ways."
Joanne Norris, Glasgow.
